      Bone Densitometry (DEXA)

Majority people thought that aging, menopause, rheumatism and calcium deficiency are the symptoms of osteoporosis.   Taking calcium rich food  was good enough for prevention of osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis is a silent disease.  If you are at risk, you should be assessed by your physician and may need Bone Densitometry, DEXA, to ascertain the diagnosis.

DEXA uses low dose radiation to obtain bone images and calculate bone mass density.  The images are taken by a GE DPX Pro Bone Densitometry (DEXA) operated by trained radiographers.

Consult with your physician whether a bone densitometry examination is needed.
