Full-Field Digital Mammography (FFDM)

The current way to detect breast cancer is to regularly undergo screening and to treat any indication at an earlier stage.  Preventative methods include frequent physical self-examination, regular periodic mammograms, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. 

A mammogram is an X-ray imaging of the breast.  ImagingMed uses a GE Senographe 2000D Full-Field Digital Mammography operated by a trained female radiographer.

Mammography is one of the most important tools doctors have to help them diagnose, evaluate, and follow up women who have had breast cancer. It is a safe and highly accurate examination. Mammography helps finding breast cancer as early as possible and taking immediate intervention.  Talk to your physician and ask if a mammography is advisable.
